BBB.net 100 Greatest Villains nomination thread..

This is how it works..

1.)You get to nominate ten villains from any form of entertainment (movies, video games, comicbooks, cartoons, TV shows, books, comic strips, graphic novels, plays, wrestling, etc.).

2.)Rank your top ten villains from 1-10 (With 1 being the best), each place is worth a certain amount of points (1 is worth 10, 2 is worth 9, and etc) so having a distinct order is important. If you just make a list with no particular order, I'll take that as the order of your list.

3.)The nominations will run through Friday, June 30th. At that point I'll calculate the scores, and then present you with the BBB.net's version of the 100 greatest villains.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask unless I was unclear with anything.

First things first, are we basing villains on who are antagonistic toward our "hero"? Or is it more loosely defined? What I'm saying is that even though Micheal Corleone was a bad person, he was the protagonist of the Godfather trilogy and everybody and their mother rooted for him. And if he's considered a villain that changes things a lot, in my opinion. Because then Jules Winnfield from Pulp Fiction is a villain, Tony Montana from Scarface is a villain, Mickey Knox from Natural Born Killers, etc.

So I'm just curious as to how we're defining villains here, are they strictly people that were bad, and we rooted against? Or are they people who we wanted to succeed, despite their malice?
In terms of this, we're saying villains are people that were bad. Since there were sometimes villains that every damned person I knew cheered for even though they were the antagonist.

I'm still kinda lost how Darth Vader was a villain. Ultimately he was just a misguided person, and eventual hero.

Knicks fans, can you imagine what Jennings is going to do to you? He’s gonna be slicing through that defense like V for Vendetta. Then, after the game, he’s gonna slice through security and find Donnie Walsh and stab him in the damn heart.

I guess Kobe feels like averaging 30 again. At this point, he’s like Keanu at the end of the first Matrix. He became who he was supposed to be and now he’s just gonna do whatever he wants.

Yeah, but in A New Hope and Empire, he's the villain, and back then nobody knew he'd eventually be good. In my mind, Darth Vader is a villain and Anakin Skywalker is a hero.
