Masuka FTW!! Best episode of the season so far..

I thought it was brilliant how the storylines collided with each other. The writers pulled it off.

Dexter being a Dad
Dexter being a vigilante
Dexter being Lumen's savior
Dexter being chased by Quinn

Though, I think Quinn chasing Dexter will go a bit further but would get complicated as he's still with Deb, on and off.

They aren't really colliding at all. Dexter's personal life has always been what gets in the way and creates the drama. The three storylines in this are Lumen, Dexter being chased by Quinn, and the machete murders. The three in this season so far have been completely separate. The only compelling storyline is Dexter being chased by Quinn while he's with Deb which hasn't really taken off yet (looks like it will next episode). The other two (Lumen and machete) have been boring as sin.

The worst storyline is the Laguerta/Batista stuff. I fast forward through all of that.

OMG I thought he was gonna cheat on her LOLZ!!!

As for Dexter... god I don't know. Something's missing this season clearly, maybe it's the humor as mentioned above. I still kinda like the show because I've been a huge forensic files/csi/etc fan since I was a kid, but man, this show was so much better. Seasons 1 and 4 were awesome; such great killers. Lumen and the Fuentes' are ****ing boring. And why would that stupid ass dentist call the other dudes and tell them the girl escaped when they were in earshot. Um... how about call the ****ing police and then warn the dudes later. Oh, and BTW, you're tied up in a warehouse and now Lumen has a phone number of the guys you thought it was necessary to sacrifice your own life for. So the sacrifice is in vain. Stupid.

I'm aware of that, though, I should've said subplots instead of storylines.

Yeah, that was incredibly stupid. Why not call the police and still play innocent? It also didn't make sense that Dexter was going to try to save him. He's been seen. He can't save him or he risks his entire life. Lastly, she washed all the blood away. Not only would the floor be wet but don't they wonder why the **** all the blood was washed away? It wouldn't make sense if they killed each other unless their spirits came out and used the hose.

The key to this show is laugh at the stupidity. It's bordering on CSI Miami type bad right now.

I thought last episode would go that away. Instead, it was the suit guy who tried to get rid of the bodies, and got in an incident. Maybe, it was his trick to see Lumen alive and exposed (when she was at the crime scene). No idea how this new motivational speaker twist will tie up with machete murders. Or maybe he's tied up already.

i finally caught up with dexter, i quit after i was pissed that dexter got doakes killed.
its probably save to say that quinn and lumen will not survive this season.
