God damn that was awesome. I frankly don't know about the villain if it's some mob boss in Kiev; it seems too big for Dexter. But the Dex/Deb relationship is going to be really really good. My stream did not have "coming this season", so I'm completely in the dark for next week. I actually thought the final piece in Deb's mind was going to be the Jordan Chase table, not her magically regaining her memory, but I guess this way she knows that he cares about her and saved her life.

Another sick episode. Couple of thoughts I have from this epi (Don't read if you haven't watched)




I think Louis will be the main villain for the last season instead of this one cause right now he's looking pretty pathetic outside of not being scared by Dexter's threats. Dexter has too much going on still (LaGuerta on his case/The Russian Mafia/learning to be normal/and lastly Louis which I think will be somewhat postponed because of the 1st three things I said that are on his plate)

Great episode though, how it ended could be real interesting in the upcoming episodes of the series and/or how things develop with Dexter trying to get of the dark passenger and saying no/calling Deb when he sees blood.

Great episode. I loved Dexter/Deb scenes together and her trying to help him, him describing what it's like, keeping a watch on 24/7. I'm probably only one on board with them making sense together - being it for one another (in an unorthodox way that needs to be developed though) but funny comment he made about a bigger shower and Randall's comments about them. She even made a hint about it. Issac's on the war path and apparently they're finding out it was him right away. Louis stuff is somewhat interesting - felt like people overrate his character/storyline potential but - I'm wondering how far they'll go with that or cut the cord sooner than later. LaGuerta starting to dig into it may take whole season but it may not end well for her depending how far they push it this season.

I have a feeling Deb dies. Not killed by Dexter but Dexter will be responsible for her death. Perhaps something along the lines of sacrificing herself in order to change Dexter.

Yup, I can definitely see it. Dexter sneaks out again, Deb goes looking for him and she gets killed (by the mob or a random bad guy). He'll lose control, similar to when he drowned the guy who killed Brother Sam and was laughing about it. Dexter gets vengeance, but is sloppy and leaves evidence...leading up to his capture/being on the run. Remember the last time he went without killing for an extended period of time? In season 2, his work got really sloppy and he became very unfocused. Judging from the previews for next week's show, it looks like this starts happening again (when he drops the swab).

I also think that the stripper is going to get Quinn in serious trouble at some point, maybe he dies too?

I know I'm ranting, but this season has been great through the first 2 episodes.

I have to smh at that theory everytime someone brings it up elsewhere. Deb's not dying - she's too big a part of the show and that doesn't do anything for it. It would effectively kill it. They already did that storyline with Rita. He'll go above and beyond ways he never did for Rita too. If anything, I bet she ends up saving him knowing everything or what he's doing this season. Only way I see MAYBE is if they both die in some tragic way at the end of the show. But I have a different thought on how the series ends.

Pretty sure he dropped the swab because he was taken back by Hannah. But he does do sloppy things however.



I am kinda thinking Louis may get mistaken for Dexter if he tries to do more of his you ruined my life stalking and maybe he's the one whose blood is dripping on the boat. Which would get Issac off his trail for a bit.

I can't see Deb dying either (show is over if she does) if anything the chances of Dexter and even Harrison dying are more higher than Deb dying. Would be shocked at this point if she did.

One thing I think happens is that more of the supporting cast dies/gets killed off (like Mike etc.)

Also should be interesting how/what Hannah does.

A lot of disappointments in the latest episode. Didn't like how they killed off the nerdy guy, I thought there would be more conflict between him and Dexter. In the series preview they showed Masuka getting killed and that turned out to be Dexter's imagination, that's bs imo.

lmao at them just killing off the nerdy guy. Honestly, that's the only thing that pisses me off about Dexter. They build things for so long and then just end it in the lamest way possible. They never explained why the guy was as crazy as he was. They never explained his real issue with Dexter. He had the hand BEFORE Dexter hated on his video-game. That wasn't the reason. Additionally, the way he dies is just so damn lame.

The same thing will probably happen with LaGuerta. Some random event will happen and she'll drop the whole thing with the blood slide. After a few more episodes of her getting really close though.

lol why would Masuka dying be anything more than just a fantasy. That was obvious.

Meh. I think people bought into the Louis hype too much and expected more just because of the hand - that was meant to ask questions. He was just some techy fanboi with a lot of mental problems that took what Dexter about his game too far. Same guy who put child porn on the guy Bob Henley's comp to get his company. The game was THE only reason. He was more of annoyance and turning him into some big bad was never their intentions. I thought his death was fitting, wrong place wrong time. It happens. If he knew anything, he wouldn't be ****ing with a serial killer.

Intense episode. I loved it. I liked Dexter bringing her in the process, his lizard brain, try to get her on board, her argue her way and try (which proved his point). Which started to form an understanding and freeing Dexter of that prison he felt. He got what he wanted, and she acknowledged his necessary evil, even understanding it to a point (which is part of the process) but pushed him away. Ultimately getting that wasn't what he wants. He's upset feeling he's losing that intimacy he craves, her company and acceptance. They are handling the situation of her knowing about as good as you can and then some. We're getting them in more and more scenes than just checking in every so often. It's electric, actually hearing, seeing them talk about these things.. MCH and JC are hitting homeruns in everyone of them, Their chemistry is undeniable. Loved that bar scene where they're arguing like a couple lol.

SPOILER ALERT: Nah, LaGuerta's supposed to reopen the BHB case. And from the season preview Deb tells Dex she found a slide and asks how he could lose it.
