Re: Dexter
Holy shit.
I thought for a long time, Deb was gonna do it. But didn't know that was how it'd be set up. She chose out of love. Unconditional. Maybe it'll wake Dexter up even though he was ready to die himself for her not to be risked. I think her emotional reaction made it OK for me. JC NAILED IT. Buck said afterwards it wasn't scripted. This is also something that would even further bond them. I can only imagine how he's gonna be there for her too, open up certain doors or possibilities. |

Re: Dexter
So how exactly did Hannah escape?
Loved the flashbacks with Doakes. That guy was a great character. They set up lots of story lines for next season. Obviously the Debra/Dex stuff, LaGuerta's death, Batista now retired which means he's now free to do his own investigating, Hannah's escape and Dexter's need to kill will still obviously be there.

The question now is: what is your up-to-date ranking of the seasons? I personally loved season 7. Here's mine...

Re: Dexter
I think Hannah was giving him a kiss goodbye after she bit him and leaving that plant as a final gift in black seemed she was in mourning. I think she has no reason to stick around, breaking out of prison - a fugitive, and she even said so herself, she never stood a chance with him as far as Deb goes and they couldn't trust one another. No reason to stick around. Revenge is not what she's about. She kills to protect or if threatened. But she also knows what he's capable of, too.
I need time to absorb to rank, though I have an idea. |

Re: Dexter
This was a ****ing sick season, great finale. On point to whoever said JC nailed it, and the Doakes flashbacks were def. great.
I don't think Hannah is gonna be part of next season for reasons above post said, but damn there is a lot of storylines that can/will take place for the last season of the series, really looking forward to that. I probs need some time to re-rank too, but I'd say this last one for me is already somewhere in the top 2-3. |

Re: Dexter
7's finale is world's better than 6's. Also, 6's final scene was of Deb walking in was predictable and just finding out his secret is nothing now.
Last night, Deb walking in with him about to kill LaGuerta outside his code, drawing her gun on Dex and her having to choose was mindblowing (even tho I knew she wasn't gonna shoot him) and his acceptation of death, her last word of "Dex" - just everything that happened in that moment and after. I guess I was wrong about Hannah. Hopefully, they can't reach an agreement haha. Last edited by Dissonance; 12-17-2012 at 12:32 PM. |
