It was intriguing enough. The whole serial killer vs. serial killer angle could make for some interesting episodes. OVerall I wasn't blown away by it but came away looking forward to what they will do with it. Dexter is one creepy mother****er.

Just saw the pilot for free at yahoo. I liked it a lot but sucks though because I don't have showtime and I definetly want to see where this goes. Oh and I agree Dexter is pretty sick.

just got done watching the Pilot..Hell of a idea for a show got to love Showtime they got to have some of the best orignal shows on tv with brotherhood/weeds/huff and now dexter

Oh, man did this show turn out to be great!

I was still a little unsure after the first few episodes, but now it's probably the show I look most forward to watching every week.

Can't believe there is a thread for this. I love everything about this show. The ITK mystery, his hilarious interaction with everyone around him, his creepy kill ritual. All great stuff. Can't get enough of this show.

The show has not dissapointed yet.

I'll have to add this to my dvd collection once season 1 comes out.

Funny that the ITK and Dexter both got some in the same episode, they are truly competiting.

Were you guys able to guess who the ITK was before the latest ep? I had thought it was taking the subtle but fairly obvious route of the father but then they went a whole other direction. Good stuff. I agree with you guys that this show is one of my favorites at the moment up there with the wire/heroes/the office.

Holy Crap...What a good twist on the ITK...I really didnt think it was him i thought there was a chance but i didnt see that comming...Also now that we know him and Debra aint gonna be together to much longer I see Doakes and Debra romance in the future...But dam this show just keep getting better and better

I was thinking the same thing.

Look at his expression when he asks her where shes been and she tells him she was doing her boyfriend.

Doakes is awesome, Dexter said it best in more words but the only real cop in the whole station.

That was pretty obvious.

As soon as I saw the ITK, I knew who it was.

You knew it was the doctor from the moment he appeared in the show? Thats a little nuts, especially since he started out as so incredibly minor. Good call though.
