Re: Battlestar Galactica.....
I cant be the only one watching this fantastic season. Surely there must be fans of the show on here who are thrilled with the way this season has turned out so far.

Re: Battlestar Galactica.....
It's too messianic now. The religiosity is drowning out the sci-fi. They're losing me, which is a shame because it's nearing the end.
I suppose I should take for granted that they have an ending planned. It's just a little irritating that they don't seem to have 20 episodes planned but 5 episodes of good stuff with 15 slow-*** episodes dominated by filler, proselytizing, arguments, and the crew sweating entirely too much.

I caught up with the show when they ran the marathon on sci-fi before this season premiered after having seen only 'crossroads 1 and 2' last season. yeah, i was late to the BSG party. it felt like i was cramming for a test or something but it was a really cool way to watch. imo, all the episodes leading up to the most recent one got all the exposition stuff out of the way for the roller coaster ride we just buckled up for. cause, whoa! this past week's episode was one of the best hours of TV i've ever watched. like, ever. love this show. |

Re: Battlestar Galactica.....
I just wish someone would put a bullet through Baltar's head. I hate that man with a passion
Lol the way this season is going though, everyone is going to end up dead. Too many random killings

Re: Battlestar Galactica.....
I started watching this show during my summer vacation and plan to be up to speed with the current season by the next show. The only reason I decided to watch this is because I saw a website with a list of the top 10 shows in the last 10 years. It pretty much read like my favorite shows with the likes of The Wire, The Sopranos, The Office, Lost, Arrested Development, South Park, and Bleak House. There were only two shows on the list I hadn't seen, one being #9, only ahead of Bleak House. The other was #2, listed only after The Wire, and it was Battlestar Galactica. So it peaked my interest, and it has definitely been an enjoyable show. Probably the best Sci-Fi show I've seen including Heroes and any iteration of Star Trek, although I don't put it on the same level as the others on the list, it is still great TV.
And I just saw the season finale for the 3rd season. Holy crap, that was one of the best hours of television this decade. Honestly, I saw the Big Reveal coming about 10 minutes into the show. There was just so much emphasis on the music, it had to have a big purpose. And I guessed Starbuck being the final memeber of the 5 too, mainly because it was obvious her story wasn't done yet, and there wasn't anyone else hearing the music. Who knows, maybe she isn't one of the final five, because it hasn't been officially confirmed, at least not at the point where I'm at. The only thing that made me kind of second guess my thought on those 4 being Cylons was the fact that Col. Tigh has clearly aged...while the rest could just have a memory force fed into them ala Boomer. Why is Col. Tigh able to age? I hope they clarify that. And when the big reveal happened, I was loving the production values and the infusion of Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower." Anyways, I'm off to go see the Razor Flashbacks and Razor special. I have no idea what a Razor is, but I guess I'll find out soon enough. |

Frak Banned
Hearst Connecticut Media Group has banned the word "frak" from their comments section.
This reasoning is a little weak for my taste:

Baltar didn't quite grasp the ending.

Re: Battlestar Galactica.....
Some guy is building a $20,000 replica of a Cylon Raider in his backyard.
