If they actually do go through with this hunking piece of garbage, it's going to fail horribly both at the box office and in the reviews.

How many name actors were in the first X-men movie? I think when the cast is as big as it is in JLA, the quality of the movie isn't going to be swayed by the weight of any one actor. It's going to be a group effort in conjunction with the director and the SFX team.

Look at those fan made superhero movies, in particular the Batman one. That's not a name actor, but it still works because of the atmosphere.

I don't think JLA is a character driven work most of the time. The actors really won't be important. The script and the direction will play a much larger role.

At the very least, there was Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellan, and Halle Berry. Hardly the quality of an Armie Hammer or D.J. Katrona, I know.

The actors in X-Men were quality, and the director was quality. The opposite is true for this ****fest of a movie. No matter what kind of SFX they use.

You mean the mediocre short? It was cool for a fanmade piece, but doesn't really compare to a major production of any sort. The short was also made by hardcore fans of Batman. For some reason I doubt that George Miller is a big Justice League buff.

And I disagree wholeheartedly.

Im kinda glad its finally moving foward..If they market the movie right i think it could make a good amount of money..Also depends on what month it comes out on in 2009 and what it is up against but i could see it doing well at the box office

As much as jmk dislikes this movie he does have a point though. No big names attached to the movie, they haven't built any type of following with the JLA. Apart from loyal comic book lovers the JLA are pretty much unknown. I don't think this movie will do that well. They shoulda just stuck with their straight to DVD animation projects

not this movie. the reason why batman begins was so successful was because of acting, direction, and a lot of creativity.

i dont see anyone of these things coming out of this JLA movie except for maybe creativity.

Can someone explain to me why they are making a JLA movie without Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman? It will bomb if it doesn't have those three characters in it. Why make a JLA movie if you can't have the Big 3. Having the big 3 guarantees it will be a blockbuster.
