Look out! He's blind!

What a stupid super power. Its like he was a character that some guys came up with for an awareness campaign or something.

Daredevil. **** you. What about his superpowered brother "The See'er" stricken with deafness from an early age, he developed telescopic vision as compensation. It somehow makes him able to fight crime. Or his sister "The Critic" who was born mute, but now her tongue and nose have super human tasting and smelling ability. The bane of every bad chef.

Re: Live Action Justice League of America Movie in the Works...

So Ben Affleck might be up for directing Justice League after all.

Quote:
"I would love it. My interest is really just in, you know, if I like the characters and if the stories seem smart and surprise me. The things that people look for. So those things exist in the superhero genre. And when they do, I think it's really exciting. I think they exist in the science-fiction genre. If you look at Blade Runner to Alien to Aliens on down through today. So it's just about finding a good script, honestly. I wouldn't be into something or not based on the genre."
Would he be a good choice?

Re: Live Action Justice League of America Movie in the Works...

Character roster announced

Quote:
Superman: Essentially the same character from Man of Steel, and Zack Snyder is consulting regarding the writing of the character.

Batman: The strategist of the group. Batman doesn't really want to be involved with these super powered beings he considers too powerful. Easily the most complex written.

Wonder Woman: She has only been in man's world a few short months. The Wonder Woman script Michael Goldenberg is developing will be set before the Justice League movie.

Green Lantern: Will be Ryan Reynold's character from the Green Lantern movie, but will be freshly written with a more serious tone.

Flash: The most popular hero in civilian eyes who loves media attention, but when called upon is very serious.

Martian Manhunter: Alien who has lived on Earth in secret for over a hundred years who has knowledge of Darkseid and his reign.

Aquaman: Will be the King of Atlantis who has a key role in the film.
Sounds fairly predictable. Only question mark there was the Manhunter. Glad to see him confirmed, though.

JLA Currency?

A German artist (Aslan Malik) took some liberties with this...

Fox exec slams Justice League as excellent way of losing $200 million

The Flash has door handles on the side of his mask and if he doesn’t wear that mask, I’ll be pissed off, you know what I mean? They’re in a weird, weird situation – if you’ve got a guy who moves at the speed of light up against the Weather Wizard and Captain Cold or whatever, then your movie’s over in two seconds. You can get away with stuff in comics that in live action’s just a bit sucky – the best one is definitely Aquaman. Aquaman can’t even talk under water. If you think about it in comics it’s fine, you just have a speech balloon, but how do you have Atlantis and people talking under water? Are they gonna talking telepathically? Is it going to be body forms?
He went on to say:

Quote:
I actually think the big problem for them is the characters are just too out of date. The characters were created 75 years ago, even the newest major character was created 68 years ago, so they’re in a really weird time...

The actual logistics of each member of the Justice League is disastrous, and you put them all together and I think you get an excellent way of losing $200 million.
