I remember watching this is whole bunch of other violent japanese movies (suicide club, ichii the killer) All good stuff if your into that sort of things. I think im off it now?

Battle Royale is pretty tame. If you are looking for sick twisted movies go find your snuff movies. if that's too much, go watch your miike.

Battle Royale really isn't disturbing.

Lord of the Flies anyone?

I mean it definately was LOTF at its roots but it was twisted in ways that made it much better than just your usual recycled rehash.

As for the sick and disturbing part I gotta agree w/futurist its not as crazy you all are making it out to be. Watch the last 3rd of Audition or even some of the more brutal horror flicks of the late 70s you'll see why.

OT: Futurist do you know the name/ number of the Miike "masters of horror" episiode?

CW has decided to pass on Battle Royale TV series
