Favreau definitely seems like he wants to do this right. Unlike someone like Tim Story who is butchering the FF movies or Brett Ratner or whoever the **** directed Daredevil and The Punisher. Hulk grows on me a little bit every time I watch it.

But those pictures definitely look cool. I'm not the biggest Iron Man fan, but I see all comic book movies, so I'm really hoping this one ends up being good.

Well, pretty sure Favreau didn't design the suit. Looks like it was Adi Granov (the same guy who based his Tony Stark off of Tom Cruise). Despite the casting of Jeff Bridges, I still have very little faith in this movie. This was a movie tailor made for Tom Cruise and Steven Spielberg. It should have happened.

Personally I'm happy Tom Cruise and Stephen Spielberg didn't touch this film.

I just wonder how the Iron Man origin will be updated to make some semblance of sense for this. Designing the suit because of the heart problem doesn't really work especially considering nowadays.

Now in Hi-Res you can really tell the amount of detail and effort that went into the making of the Ironman suit. Great collaboration between artist Phil Saunders, Winston Studios, & Jon Favreau. Also I think Robert Downey Jr is going to make Tony Stark/Ironman his Clark Kent/Superman. Robert Downey Jr has been playing Tony Stark his whole life and didn't even know it.

That's soooo sweet, I had to watch that 3 times... after watching that, thank god Iron Man was played by Downey Jr. and not Tom Cruise.

And this movie's definitely made with sequels in mind. Also, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury?? Ohhh boy.... this is now THE most anticipated movie for me.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure this is going to suck hard. It looks goofy and it looks cheesy. Hiring Jon Favreau was a big mistake, and casting Downey Jr. over Tom Cruise was an even bigger one.

Terrence Howard, Samuel L Jackson and Gwyneth Paltrow not to mention that Downey Jr is a pretty good actor. No sir, I think this movie could be very good. Also Favreau didnt write the script, the fate of the movie is basically in the hands of the screen writer

Since when can he not direct? He directed that Jumanji in space movie which was pretty good if it wasn't a total knock off of Jumanji on Earth. He directed Elf and his sequelish to Swingers. He'll do a great job. I remember people like you talking crap about Sam Rami directing Spiderman.... "All he's ever done were cheesy Evil Dead movies.... blah blah...."

Robert Downy Jr was probably one of the best actors in the past two decades but he screwed it up by getting twisted all the time.

Big and cheesy work as long as the are honest with it and make it fun. The concept of going to a movie is to enjoy yourself, not analyze it like it's a piece of art. "This movie about a guy who dresses up in a suit of iron isn't serious enough"(read this part with a deep and serious voice)

I'll crack an egg of knowledge for you, Hbwoy. Good actors do not equal good movie. Especially when the director of said movie makes some of the ugliest films in the World. That last sentence of yours is complete bull****, too. Not only is it complete bull****, but the writers of this movie haven't proven anything good, either. As a matter of fact, half of them have never even written for a MMP. Kind of odd that you don't mention Jeff Bridges when talking about actors, though, as he is easily the best actor in this cast. Makes anything you say regarding acting questionable at best. Also, Sam Jackson is more often bad than good, and even then, his part will only be a cameo.

Plain and simple, this movie looks hokey. I don't see any potential chemistry between anyone on set.
