An actor memorizing a script isn't that huge of a deal. And if you're saying that 15 movies over a few years is selective, then I may need to get myself a new dictionary, because something isn't making sense here.

The Hunting Party
The Brave One

I didnt add the others as I have not seen or heard anything about them. Going through the list I put up there, the only real terrible one was Get Rich Or Die Trying. I never saw Animal BTW

He was only in about five scenes combined for Four Brothers and Idlewild, neither which I liked very much.

P.S. Here are the IMDb rating of some of those Terrence Howard flicks:

The Salon (2005) - 3.8/10

Their Eyes Were Watching God (2005) - 6.2/10

Animal (2005 Straight to Video) - 5.9/10

Get Rich or Die Tryin' (2005) - 3.5/10

Idlewild (2006) - 5.7/10

Pride (2007) - 3.4/10

Yep. Only the best from Terrence Dashon Howard. Definitely not in it for the money.

I liked 4 Brothers, and yeah I forgot to mention that some of thoes movies he was only in there sparingly

Heh arent The Hunting Party and The Brave One getting oscar buzz?

How about his excellent performances in Hustle & Flow and Crash?

Crash was a horrible movie. Hustle & Flow was good, and Howard was good in it. Still not sure how that makes him a selective actor, though.

I guess thats why that horrible movie an Oscar, their standards must be terrible. And like I said I cant dispute Howard saying he was in it for the money considering I wasnt there. I am just going by what he said in interviews

And yes Jackson is a good actor I forgot to say that

do educate me jmk? I mean there must a reason why most actors view getting an Oscar as the pinncale of their careers. If their standards were really faulty, you think it would have that type of effect

Because most actors are self-absorbed sycophants who crave recognition more than anything else. Most people know that the Oscars are bull****.

Did you read the part where I said Howard himself said THAT he is selective about the movies he picks? Heck he was on BET today and said along the same lines when they asked him why he chose The Brave One and The Hunting Party
