Anyone else watch this show?

I am shocked at how much violence they get away with, and its on primetime TV for that matter.

Started dvrimg this show on tnt, it's pretty awesome. It's like x files meets buffy, but guy oriented. I highly recommend. Anyone else watch it?

It's been one of the only shows I've made sure to watch weekly for the past few years. I really like it.

Pretty good show though I think last season and this season is pretty 'whatever'. Earlier seasons were awesome though.

I thought last season was good. This season hasnt been nearly as good as previous seasons, but I feel like its building to a great conclusion

Watched bits and pieces, but haven't steadily watched it. Probably will give it a whirl now that it's on Netflix, though.

Yup, I'm hooked. I have a handful of shows that I watch with the girlfriend only, and then I like to have my own shows to watch on my own time. Supernatural is great, I'd seen episodes before on network TV and enjoyed it but starting from the beginning makes it better. I've already watched 7 episodes I believe.

I have a few episodes left in the last season, it flames out near the last season IMO. Gets a little mushy, but the first 5 seasons or whatever were very enjoyable. I would suggest watching it if you think you might enjoy it though, because you probably will.

Hyperion said it was like X-Files meets Buffy... but guy oriented. I was not crazy about the X-Files at all. Buffy was decent but not great (in my mind). Does the guy oriented part of it make it watchable or do you not agree with Hyperion's assessment?

It's hard to give it a good comp. It's produced well and does a good job of mixing likeable characters with interesting plots, and they have a ton of freedom in terms of what they can get away with considering the type of "enemies" the main characters peruse. There's a lot of built up story line as it goes on, so that keeps you involved. Actions scenes are enjoyable and for the most part the episodes are well done. It gets a little sappy at the end for my liking, but the first handful of seasons were very enjoyable.
