Perhaps there'll be some Mutant Massacre-esque tie-in? If I recall correctly, Uncanny X-Men had a bit during that arc where Psylocke went into Logan's mind, and turned up a memory of a younger Logan lying beaten on a mountaintop, with Sabretooth impliedly responsible. Then there's the are that ties Gambit to Mr. Sinister and the Massacre itself... I wonder.

Deadpool had better not look like that as Deadpool (i.e. post-Weapon X)

The only reason Gambit is in here is because he's a popular character that people have been demanding to see on screen.

What is Gambit's ability? I mean I know he throws explosive cards or whatever, but can he also throw a rock making that explosive as well?

He can charge inanimate objects with kinetic energy turning them into explosives. So yeah he can explode rocks as well. I think there were a few occasions where he blew up something larger than he was but it was very taxing for him.

i was really hyped for this movie till i saw the pictures of Deadpool now not so much..im gonna wait till the trailer till i decide on this movie now

The Gambit pictures were also disappointing. At least give the man some sideburns, besides since when does he have pupils

It seriously bothers me that this movie wrapped up filming before this summer of Iron Man, Hell Boy 2, and The Dark Knight. This summer has been a watershed moment in comic book movies and the direction that they need to take but this movie did not get to receive that lesson in advance.

Yeah, I agree. I think that his eyes are supposed to be red from his powers.

Every single one of those characters looks horrible. Especially Emma Frost and Deadpool.

Stupid character.

A character only serves as a fictional framework to express ideas. He has an intriguing background story, an emotional past, and one of the most frightening villains (Mr. Sinister). There's plenty of material with his job as a mercenary for Sinister and tons of other material to make any number of great movies. And if they wanted to go the Sinister route you could make him the Hannibal Lecter genius villain types with well-crafted dialogue. "Stupid character" makes no sense. He's just a tool to tell a story. If they can't tell a good one then it's the writers who are stupid.
