Dead serious...would you rather have me say both 1 and 2 sucked...I could happily say that as well.

IMO none of the Xmen movies have ever lived up to my expectations..it's a oppinion folks so no need to get all upset.

Well, my opinion is that X-Men was a very good movie and X2 was purely awesome. The best comic book movie ever made.

And if you think these movies are good then I certainly won't be reading any of yours either...the plots are just horrendous. Very disapointing IMO..yours is obviously different. Wow who would have thought..someone thinks differently from you..it's amazing!

I agree with you.

I thought X1 was silly and uninspired. I didn't see all of X2. What I did see didn't get me to go out of my way to sit through the whole thing.

But that's just me. Frankly, I was never into the comic book either.

Ok fair enough...you see IMO I would point to either of the Spiderman flicks as being superior to Xmen in terms of comic book movies...or Sin City or V4Vendetta.

No one is getting upset, at least from what I can tell from reading the rest of the posts in this thread that are disagreeing with you. I thought X2 was a lot better than the 1st one. It's just an opinion, but when you do say something sucks or was just flat out terrible it's always good to give some type of reason behind the statement. Maybe someone can see your point of view and understand where you coming from.

Personally, I haven't liked pretty much any of the comic book movies, and I dearly hope they end soon. I couldn't believe it when I saw a Superman movie was coming out, so retarded. IMO X1 and X2 were just medicore, I don't see what all the fuss about X3 is about.

Maybe so..but the point of this thread wasn't to analyze X1 and X2 but rather to comment on X3 etc..which I did by citing the body of work that already exists (X1 and X2).

So anyway...my reasoning...the plots for both Xmen films were flat out horrible IMO. X1 was a bit better IMO simply due to it being the first in the series and having a certain novelty affect.
