i like this show. one of the only unisex shows i can watch. it's not great by any means but it's pretty solid for being on such a terrible network imo.

yeah for a network 30 minute sitcom its really good. I don't know about last season though.

Isn't this the last season? I haven't seen that confirmed anywhere. At this point I'm just waiting for them to say who the mother is

It's contracted for 8 seasons. 2 more yrs after this.

Love this show, but yeah, last season was very mediocre compared to prior. Too many stand alone episodes weren't very funny. At least be funny if you're going to do that. I don't need all the episodes to connect or to do with the mother but little more arcs would be nice. Which is what they're supposed to do this season. I thought tonight's episode was better than any episode last yr (Except maybe Girls vs Suits where they introduced Cindy).

Be interesting to see what this wedding from last night's episode was and how it connects to that day and maybe Cindy eventually setting Ted with her roommate (who is the mother) at some point. Should introduce her sooner than later so we know her at least a season or two IMO.

Victoria is returning to How I Met Your Mother.

I gotta tell you, this is my favourite comedy show right now, and a second-best only to the Walking Dead regarding TV series.

I've been on a HIMYM binge, and watching every episode i missed the first time around. The show is great.

Season 8 has just started (last season of the show, IIRC).

What are your thoughts abot HIMYM?

I got into it about a year ago simply b/c it airs re-runs on about three different channels, and its a welcome addiction. Was worried b/c there were moments in season 7 where I thought it was falling off, but the opening episode of Season 8 was good, so I'm pumped.

Yeah, they are creating an interesting build-up, with Barney/Robin freaking out on their wedding and Ted FINALLY

being close to the woman he is supposed to marry...

The thing i like the most about this show is that i'm eager to see how it unfolds. As in, how the charaters will go on with their lives. Something i never felt regarding a comedy TV show.

I loved the season premiere. Excited for what's in store if this is, indeed, the final season. They're definitely starting it off that way. Whoever the mother is, she better not end up being a disappointment after 8 seasons.
