How is this not the best show that's on TV right now? It's like the next Friends and there's like all these jokes and a little subculture because of it like using the word 'awesome'.

I've never seen it but your description of the show as the "next Friends" has dissuaded me from checking it out.

it's a much better show than Friends

Friends is pretty annoying, Ross, Chandler and half the time Joey

How i Met, has Jason Segel and NPH and a really hot brunette, so im sold

Just recently got into this show about month or so back, maybe even less. Have watched all the way, through. Just a really fun, and funny show. Just got a couple friends into it recently, as well.

Barney Stinson is one of the top 3 characters on TV right now. NPH is ****ing great as him. Of course Jason Segel is great, as usual. Alyson Hannigan is even better than you could have ever dreamed her to be. I figured she'd be good, but she's great on the show. Cobie Smulders is extremely pretty, and decent on the show. The lead is mostly good, but I could see how one might dislike him.

Such a quality show, season 5 I thought was amazing - Barney Stinsons Playbook? pure gold
