"Avatar" Movie discussion
http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox/avatar/index.html
gotta say I am kinda disappointed. It's not bad for sure, maybe I just had too high expectation.

re: "Avatar" Movie discussion
Not sure what to think about it. Could be a big hit or it might just tank. I will wait until closer to release to hear what critics are saying to get idea if I should see in theaters or if I should Netflix it.

re: "Avatar" Movie discussion
I mean, it looks okay, but this is supposed to be the CGI that shakes the industry?
Sorry, but as has been mentioned, those blue creatures look silly. I'll wait till I see more, but for now I'm underwhelmed.

re: "Avatar" Movie discussion
This looked rather bad, but I like Cameron so I don't want to knock him too hard. But on first glance, this is not worth my money at a theatre.

It definitely looks like nothing I've ever seen...

re: "Avatar" Movie discussion
I've seen someone say it looks like Alien Vs Ferngully, and having seen the trailer earlier this week.. it's an extremely apt description.

re: "Avatar" Movie discussion
I thought that the trailer deliberately hid the plot from the viewer. The sfx look amazing but I don't know what to think of the plot.

re: "Avatar" Movie discussion
isn't the plot about the last air bender, he has the ability to change the outcome of the world, and all the nations want him or something
