Recommend Me Some Mystery Movies
Some of the ones I've seen already: 12 Angry Men, Se7en, Memento, The Departed, The Prestige, etc. Loved all of them. What are some other good ones?

Re: Recommend Me Some Mystery Movies
Thanks! I actually have Rear Window but I've yet to see it. Completely forgot about it.
I'll have to look into the others.

"Clue" from 1985. One of my favorites of the genre although its also a comedy.

Re: Recommend Me Some Mystery Movies
Also, The Usual Suspects, Brick, Minority Report, and, of course, The Big Lebowski.
These aren't straight on Hitchcock or anything, but they are mysteries indeed.

Re: Recommend Me Some Mystery Movies
I watched Rear Window last night and thought it was great. I think it's the first movie I've seen with Jimmy Stewart...

Re: Recommend Me Some Mystery Movies
Also, try Hitchcock's Frenzy. It's as shocking today as ever, and with a generous dose of Hitch's black humour. Also, try Zero Effect with Ben Stiller & Bill Pullman, probably the cleverest plagiarism of Sherlock Holmes ever filmed (it's basically A Scandal in Bohemia). As we're on the subject of Holmes, also try The Seven-Percent Solution, to this day the greatest revisionist vision of Holmes. Also, Robbie Coltrane's Cracker serial was pretty good.

Re: Recommend Me Some Mystery Movies
One of my favorite mystery movies of all-time is Gosford Park. It came out in the early 2000's. If you can get past the different accents, you will love how it unfolds one layer at a time.
