Good article. I think taking that into account, the fact Walt held Jesse back from his "perfect moment", plus the fact they show Jesse using again in the next episode, and I would believe that Walt will eventually confess he was there when Jane died...I can only see Jesse's life spirling out of control. Possibly worse than before.

Also, Badger and Skinny Pete are starting to get clean while he still wants to sell. He found his friends killer, who he wants to deal with...man, I'm telling you, something real bad is going to happen to Jesse between now and the end of next season. Something really bad.

Jesse's done.

I think that whole production room is wiretapped and they have cameras in there. I think Gus knows that he's stealing why else would he suddenly call Walt for dinner and leave him the message of not to make the same mistake twice?

At this point I think Jesse wants to die. His whole life is hollow because there's nothing there. He has all this money and can't do anything with it. His family is completely done with him, Jane's dead, and this girl was just a stop gap. So there was no place else to go besides back to meth.

I'm not seeing how he can make it out of this season alive, and if Jesse dies it's going to get ugly for Walt. He already knows how scary Gus is, and without Jesse he'll be completely vulnerable. And with Skyler injecting herself into this mess when the **** hits the fan it's a bad look for everyone.

It's crazy to think but everyone would've been better off had Walt not gotten the treatment and simply died of cancer. Geez. I think I'm going to buy the DVDs soon, I need to show people this and get them up to speed so I can talk about it more. None of my friends or relatives watch the show.

It's funny, my last two roommates in college, I've turned them into fans of the show despite them having no idea what's going on. My roommate from freshman year LOVES it now.

As far as Jesse goes...I don't have a good guess on his future. My best guess would be he strays from Walt next season, begins using and dealing (probably out of his own house,) and it's not working out. Maybe he strikes a deal with Gus, and screws that up? I don't know. This show is just so good at keeping you guessing.

I doubt Gus would work with him. Gus thinks Jesse's a junkie who is lazy and is undependable, and he wanted Walt to get rid of him. What I want to know is whether or not Gayle is still alive. If he is that means Walt is more replaceable than he thinks.

Damn. Now I think about it if Gayle is still alive that means if things get ugly Gus can give the feds the dead Heisenburg and still keep the product pumping because with Gayle's background they could still produce. And if that happens Gus has practically made the actual cooks replaceable.

The more I think about it the more Walt's going to have to try to get out of this. If anything Walt needs Jesse more now than ever.

I wouldnt put it past them but still doubt they kill of Jesse, he is too good and too major of a character. The show wouldnt be the same w/o him. Although I agree it would be pretty realistic for him to get killed/die the next few episodes.

Not sure, but Bryan Cranston said around a year ago that he loves the show so much that he'll keep coming back if they give him a script.

This is one of those shows I'd rather have end too early than too late, because a jump the shark moment would ruin everything.

i think Vince Gilligan sort of sees this as being a show w/ a timeline that he decides, not a thing that'll just go on forever. i think i read that in an interview, but i can't find a link.

as for the latest developments, I'll say I think that Skyler's shift from hating Walt to becoming complicit in his crimes has seemed a bit rushed, anyone want to weigh in on this?

I agree with something I read on another forum which was the move was done because otherwise she was just floating around as the third wheel by Hank's bedside. They had to do something with her. She didn't really wrestle over the decision she just jumped in, and while it made for compelling TV it did take a huge jump.

So I guess the whole point of her going back to work was for it to be a device to explain why she knew how to cheat. I can live with it. There were a few things were too on the nose but it hasn't ruined the tone or quality of the show yet.

I agree with the third wheel thing. If you look at half the season, it was mainly Skyler, so now that it's re-focused on Jesse and Walt, that can't have her fade away for a little (like they did with Walt jr. before.)
