Re: Breaking Bad
The chess game between Walt and Gus is under way! Genius move by him there at the end. The look on Mike's face was perfect, one hell of an 'oh ****' look.
Did Jesse kill Gale? He pulled the trigger, but he did move the gun to the left. If he doesn't, I would say Jesse brings him to Saul, and makes him skip town, but Saul would rat in a second. I was surprised when Walt seemed like he was going to rat on Jesse, but man, smart move by Walt. He's a genius. An evil genius. Can't wait for next season. They did a good job of molding Walt from a good-guy, to a king pin. I CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT SEASON!!!

Re: Breaking Bad
Exactly. After all the things he went through to help Jesse since day 1, to when he killed the dealers...I was shocked when he said that. But of course, in classic Walter White fashion, he had it planned all along.
I'd be hard pressed to find a better set of actors on TV right now. From Walt, to Jesse, to Gus, to Saul even down to Walt Jr., the acting is stellar.

Re: Breaking Bad
It's the little things that are soo damned good on this show.. like how Gus' accent was coming out when he was angry at the beginning?
Only thing that upset me was I was lead to believe it was going to be an extra length episode, but instead they tucked Rubicon in on the back end. So I was fast forwarding on the DVR hoping to see more only to realize the season finale was a regular length episode. Also I think this show is bad for my health. I was watching the whole episode tense as ****.

Re: Breaking Bad
Ha, I hear ya Coates. Even when it's slow, you some how end up on the edge of your seat, or you find that your eyes shot open and your jaw dropped.
I can't wait to see what they do with Mike. That's a bad, bad man right there. Also, I think they made it clear last night that season 4 is probably going to be the final season.

Re: Breaking Bad
here's a brand new interview w/ vince gilligan that sort of addresses the length issue.

Re: Breaking Bad
Netflix finally shipped me the first disk of S1 after like 3 months of it being queued up and let me tell you I was not disappointed in the least bit. Su"****ing"perb. I'm not going to read the rest of the thread until I'm caught up, but thanks to everyone that recommended this.

Re: Breaking Bad
Why did they need Walt to get in the lab? To fool Gale that he did solo cooking that night and died? Just kill him and say it was Tuco's old friend or something fresh out of prison. Or ricin him.
Also I wouldn't be surprised if Gus takes Walt, Jr. or something as punishment. Maybe driving "accident"? I'm glad they used more of Mike. Sorry to Jesse fans but once he started skimming, as Walt I would have given him up then. Then he wants to avenge Combo but from what I see isn't helping Combo's mom, helping kids with scholarships (which would be fishy as hell, but could give grocery money to like 500 people), etc.

And for income tax, they're worried about laundering income from Gus and an audit but they definitely don't have $800,000+ in gambling winnings on their 1040s from RV-era cooking (aside from extreme medical deductions sourced to cash).

The reason they got Walt to the lab was they told him there was an emergency leak that he needed to fix, and Walt knew it was BS. Just a set-up.

Car bomb... machete, something the Cartel would do or anyone who wants to dethrone Heisenberg. Mike JUST shot up the office/lab with the Asian accountant, there's probably a bounty on Walt and armed dudes in the area who probably have his address if the twins. They aren't going to kill Walt unless the show is over (or they go to an earlier timeline).

Re: Breaking Bad
Spent the past week watching every episode of this series after hearing over and over again that this was the best hour drama on TV. Holy ****! What a crazy and insanely intense show. Hate that it took me so long for me to finally get around to watching, even after the nonstop praise I'd heard about this show. Cant wait for July 17.
Season 4 trailer, which is just a recap of season 3..
