I think people watches these "the making of" and every actor, actress, producers are saying, "oh, we love <add name here>, what a great actor <insert name here> is, the <insert director here> has great vision and then it turns out to be the worst movie made.

Entourage shows you behind the scenes and sometimes portrays it. Its a cuthroat business and everyone who thought the last episode was bad, is probably thinking that these actors are throwing rose petals around the floor and singing tra la la.

every episode of entourage shows that "its a cutthroat business" and most everyone in this thread likes the show. they didn't dislike last weeks episode because of whatever bs reasons you are proposing. it was just kind of a weak episode, most people shared their reasons for their thinking.

I think the show was fine. I think people want the usual comedic lines that they are used to watching Entourage. With Ari whipping out another homosexual/ethnic joke, Turtle and drama trying to get laid (they haven't gotten laid in about a year or so now, just sad), and Vince banging another hot chat on his way to stardom.

I totally understand where you guys are coming from, it wasn't the strongest and I didn't mean to insult you guys if you think i was. Only a small rebuttal. Someone did say that Entourage has slowly declining, I think there is a reason for that...

How many jokes from Ari to Lloyd can you make? How many fightings can Ari and E have? and so on...

I love Billy, I think that romance was hogwash. Now the guy has a kryptonite? That was my peeve. I love his crazy attitude.

My prediction, Medellin will win Oscars, no one watches the movie.

Thats actually exactly what I DONT want truthfully. Throw a curveball in there writers. Every episode has been the same. Same formula, same jokes, same concept every time. It's begining to feel a little tired. Cookie cutter screen writing is not the way to create good tv. Like I said at some point the show is going to have to either evolve by doing something new or as another poster pointed out return to its roots. Right now the show is in relative "no mans land." Basically to me as a fan and as someone who dislikes the general direction of the show post season 2 (for reasons anything but what you inferred) I feel like they need to **** or get off the pot pretty much. Its dissapointing that they are squandering the shows potential a lot of the time.

I'm going to go the opposite direction and say it will be a disaster, critically and commercially. Vinnie looked too stupid in that fat suit for the movie to be a success. Seems like a lot of what is going to happen will be stuff with Walsh, and while I love Walsh I question bringing him into the fold at a prominent level.

I think the problem with the show now is that it used to be primarily driven by internal conflicts within the Entourage, whereas for all of last season no such conflicts existed really... it was this outside force (Ari) who drove the conflict. This season looks to be more of the same, but replace Ari with Walsh. Should be interesting either way.

I agree with PDB, Medellin will be a disaster. Which I think will be better for the show in the long run. Let the boys struggle some.

what a good idea... take it some place new.... do something different with the show. Here is an idea how about the whole crew goes down to colombia and instead of the normal hollywoodBS we make the episode a behind the scenes documentary on the making of medellin. Oh wait they just did that and now you are sitting here complaining about them doing the EXACT thing you asked them to do... get a clue

Here is my idea how about we add a whole paranormal aspect to the show. [end sarcasm]. What exactly do you expect the show creators to do that will fit your idea of "growing" and not be completely jumping the shark???? Please dont say you want to see vince lose his supposed "star power". It could be interesting but it would take at least 2-3 seasons to do that story arc correctly. To properly show his fall from grace, hitting bottom, and than climbing back up. My only complaint with the show is that its gotta change over to a full hour (or at least fill up the entire 30 mins and cut it with this 22 minute crap).

on a somewhat unrelated note i had heard in the past that the producers wanted to make a full episode of 5towns to air in their half hour block. What would you guys think of that??

The show jumped the shark already. It will never be as good again. Entertaining, but they are just running in mud now, trying to cash in as much as they can.

ppl murmur jump the shark stuff about every show at every point during its existence. tonights episode was pretty okay but it set up some tension between vince and e which is a good thing, IMO.

I am going to sort of agree with PDB here... Medellin will be a disaster... At least originally... Most likely it gets destroyed by critics at the film festival, but is redone by time it hits the big screen. But watching it, it looked absolutely awful. Although, obviously they don't intend for the movie to actually LOOK good... Because, it's just part of the story. But Vince looked like Ben Stiller at the end of Dodgeball where he goes "****in Chuck Norris"

I don't think E is right this time. I think Vince and Billy have the experience and they loved it. E is just a critic but every critic gets it wrong sometimes. I think this will break E and Vince if E tries something stupid. Like an Ari-esque move that will destroy Vince beloved movie.

E is always right tho. And Vince never knows anything until Eric tells him first. And as has been noted Vince looked like an SNL sketch gone bad in that fat suit.
