Tonight's episode ruined my evening. That was the most unwatchable, devastating scene in the history of cable TV, and I spent the last 20 mins with my elbow over my mouth.

I spent an hour googling pictures of puppies and kitties and babies just to get over that.

This is some next level shit.

Good last couple episodes, pretty brutal. The mid season finale looks pretty awesome, wonder what kind of cliffhanger we're going to get.

NBC passed on Dead because they would have had to tone down the darkness of the concept to make it network-friendly.

I hate this show. I haven't even finished season 2 yet. All they keep trying to do is upping themselves with gore and cheap thrills.

I don't get everyone who likes it. The show is terrible. Has been since the quit trying to stick to the script and started with the "Lets show a zombies brains drip out of its eye socket after 10 swings with a bat."

Its like those old cheap B class horror films.

Weird, a lot of people have said that it has too much drama.

It's pretty mediocre. The writing and character development is lousy, and things like the half-hour talk show with that douchebag and the stupid levels of self-promotion through endorsements, commercials and social media are really, really hard to stomach.

You just finish watching a grisly scene of some guy getting his leg amputated with the back-end of a hammer, and as soon as it cuts to commercial, you get freaking Chris Hardwick on the screen giggling, "WOW, THAT WAS GRUESOME, HUH?! HAHAHA! GO TO TWITTER AND USE HASHTAG #ONELEGGEDHERSCHEL! HASHTAG HASHTAG HASHTAG!! BACK WITH MORE WALKING DEAD AFTER THIS AND DON'T FORGET TO TUNE INTO THE TALKING DEAD AFTER!!"

Hate that.

Special effects are great though...

I watch it, because it's certainly watchable, but I'm stunned at how wildly popular it is.
