re: The Walking Dead
Seeing as how Mad Men has been destroying every award show for years, and the Walking Dead has had 6 episodes, I stand behind my comment.

re: The Walking Dead
Ummm its right on the 1st page, see my comment. The post and link even made mention of it. Matter of fact reading through this thread, up until this page, it seems the only guy who didn't like it is R-star.

Quote your own shit. I'm not looking around and doing ****ing errands for you.
While you're at it, I'll quote where you say "Darabont isn't the writer. He doesn't direct." Keep trying though HB.

You'll be alright R-star. At least admit you were wrong on the most successful thing, you can do that right?

Walking Dead's first night ratings were 5.3. The high combined viewers for three different showings of Mad Men in one night is 2.9 million.

You recently back from the sabatical you had to take for being an idiot, are trying to bully me If a rookie averages 30ppg for 6 games out of the gates when the season starts back up, I guess we can easily say hes better than Kobe Bryant ever was. 6 episodes, you ****ing idiot. 6 episodes.

re: The Walking Dead
![]() Good ol HB, waiting around for someone to make his point for him because he always makes a fool out of himself when he tries to do it on his own. I don't think I've ever seen anyone quote other posters so much and trying to act like it was their work. And no, hows about you quote a post showing you knew Darabont wrote and directed for the show. Show me that. Can't? "Well at least you can admit you were wrong there, can't you HB?"

I'm pretty sure I shouldn't have gone to bat for you when everyone was calling you a laughing stock when you were gone. You constantly post shit thats just asinine, and then try to say "Look! Look what Coates posted! Thats my opinion too! Thats what I think!" Still waiting for those quotes about Darabont by the way.

re: The Walking Dead
Okay I'll admit I messed up on that, I forgot he directed the first episode/wrote two/three episodes. Seeing as I read Lynnx's very first post/article in this thread, I should have remembered.
Okay now what difference does it make in Walking Dead's 6 episodes having the most ratings the network has ever had?

And the difference? A lot of TV shows come out hot and then have viewership die as the show goes on. 6 episodes is not a very good water mark. Lets see how they perform on season 2.

re: The Walking Dead
Network renewed it on the strength of those 6 episodes, actually was renewed after the first or second episode I think. Even if there's a drop off, its still crushing Mad Men's numbers. Its not going to have that SIGNIFICANT of a drop-off. Big difference between 5.3 and 2.9

Your argument is they got renewed? Of course they did. THEY ALSO FIRED ALL THEIR WRITERS. The show could come back stronger and quit with the weak shit its been doing, or it could falter even more. Sorry, but firing all the writing staff says more to me then "HB says it won't have a significant drop off".
