All of your complaints are stupid. It wasn't a parallel time edit. These were two stories occurring in the same film but different time lines.

Wayne getting back to gotham without money is probably about the same story as what happened the first time he came back.

How did they bomb a luxury box when they could manage to blow up half the city? Really? You can't imagine that they'd be able to place a bomb in the luxury box?

I liked the twist because of her acting being so terrible, I never expected it. I thought that was ras fighting them off in the pit.

Yea. Again. Superhero movie. Can't say I agree.

Oh, and your flaws like "How did he get back?!?!?!?!!!!" have already been easily explained. I guess Nolan assuming people paid attention in the first two movies was a mistake.

I thought it was good, but I think it could have been better if they left out the prison/League of Shadows/Talia aspect. Just made it Bane v Batman. He could have attacked him in his home like in the comics. Then Alfred could have nursed him back to health or something.

But still a good movie.

I'm good with critiques like yours. But guys who are like "In scene 7, frame 282, Bruce Wayne is clearly wearing his watch on the right hand, where in previous screens it was on the left!", are ridiculous.

Only the league of shadows could have done what bane did though. i think including them legitimized bane as a villain more than him being an uncontrollable merc.

I also appreciated the tie in to the first movie with the ending of this one. A friend recommended that I rewatch Batman Begins before seeing Rises and I'm very glad I did.

He got back to Gotham because hes the ****ing Batman. And as someone else explained, it was shown that he got around the world in seedy ways prior to being the Batman. IE the whole fact he was inducted into the League of Shadows.

"Buuuuutt how did Blake know he was the Batman!" probably because it made more sense doing it the way they explained it, rather than adding an extra 30 minutes to show Blake sneaking around following Batman back to the Batcave and finding out that way.

So basically lazy writing. Which is fine if we're honest with what it is. I'm actually on the record as to saying I liked this one better than the Dark Knight, but we can call a spade a spade.

Meh. I don't find it to be lazy writing. Its made to entertain. Its a movie, not a book.

I don't think there's a reason that a movie should be held to lower standards.

I actually let a lot of this stuff go because the pacing on this movie was a million times better than the last one, and Nolan came to terms with the fact he was making comic movies.

If it was blatantly terrible plot holes that pulled me out of the movie I would agree. But on this the most I had was "Oh, I guess hes back in Gotham." and "That's her death scene? That was some bad acting."

The only thing that made me come out of the movie was when I saw Crane and thought, "oh that's where the joker es supposed to be in this movie."
