Apparently it's going to be between Hugo Strange and/or Catwoman (maybe both?).

I don't mind it if it's true. Unlike a lot of people I could really care less who the villain is. I just want them to look cool and translate well.

On another note...call me crazy, but I think it's harder for an actress to do as good of a Catwoman as Michelle Pfeiffer than I think it was for an actor to do as good of a Joker as Jack Nicholson.

Catwoman would be AWFUL. There's just no way to take that character seriously. Period. It's a cartoony villain plain and simple.

Riddler isn't more cartoony than Catwoman?

Catwoman's a great character. I just hope they don't play the same tired angles they've done in the past.

Honestly though Batman's Rogues Gallery is kinda weak especially when you want things to be ultra realistic.

Riddler they can make just a crazed madman that puts together some ****ed up riddles and ****. Someone that can send Batman and Gotham into a craze. A genuis gone mad. Catwoman is some dumb rich bitch in a latex suit with sharp claws.

After the uninspired performances of the last film (Heath Ledger aside), a hawt actress in fetish gear is about the only reason to see another of these.

I think there's a bit of exaggeration on both ends of the argument. Catwoman wouldn't be awful, because she's a woman, like Batman who has the resources to do the things she does. I imagine she'll be done very much in the way of a female Bruce Wayne, except with more selfish motives.

On the other hand, I don't think Nolan painted himself into a corner either. I think he can make a perfectly fine third film that in no way suffers because of what he might have done or established in the previous two films.

This Hugo Strange thing is interesting, though, if it's indeed true.

If Catwoman is indeed in this movie, I'd be pretty surprised if it wasn't Rachel Weisz or Marion Cotillard. You can cross of Angelina Jolie's name. That's not happening.

Natalie Portman
Rachael Weisz
Naomi Watts
Blake Lively
Anne Hathaway
Kiera Knightly

The three I don't want are Lively, Hathaway, and Knightly. I actually don't have anything against Hathaway, just don't think she would fit well.

The top three are fine.
