Re: Beyonce: "A Black Wonder Woman Would Be a Powerful Thing"
As much as I'd like to see Beyonce in that outfit, her acting is absolutely atrocious. I could barely stand her in Goldmember for the little parts she had, there's no way in hell I could take her for an entire movie.

Re: Beyonce: "A Black Wonder Woman Would Be a Powerful Thing"
Why does anyone like Megan Fox? I don't get it. I mean, she has nice tits, okay. Looks-wise there are hundreds better in Hollywood and Fox can't act her way out of a paper bag.

Cuz she looks slutty. And guys will always like slutty girls.
She tries to hard to seem like the cool chick. I agree with you, I am not big on Megan Fox at all.

Re: Beyonce: "A Black Wonder Woman Would Be a Powerful Thing"
I'm all for equality, but at some point, you have to stick to the source material. Would it made sense to have a black Harry Potter? Or a black Gandolf? Plus, the fact that racism was still an unfortunately acceptable ideal in parts of World War 2 America means that President Roosevelt would've been downright retarded to pick a black Captain America, since he was supposed to be the rallying symbol for all America.
Beyonce is worse.

Re: Beyonce: "A Black Wonder Woman Would Be a Powerful Thing"
When we going to get an African-American actor to play James Bond? Since we on the subject.
![]() ETA: Beyonce can't act, but it does not mean you can't have an African-American women to play Wonder Woman or any other nationality, I just don't think she shouldn't be playing it, but I'm not mad at her hustle. Get it out there B!

Re: Beyonce: "A Black Wonder Woman Would Be a Powerful Thing"
Hopefully that time never comes. If they want a black James Bond, pick a Brit. Chiwetei Ejiofor easily comes to mind.

Isn't Wonder Woman's whole thing that she has a gold Lasso thats make people tell The truth and flies an invisible plane? Can someone tell me what about that has made her popular in the least bit, let alone the most iconic woman figure in comics? Admittedly I don't know jack about the character, but a truth lasso...seriously? |

A feminist from a lesbian society. Female empowerment is what makes Wonder Woman popular. Her powers are inconsequential.

I don't know if I'd want them picking a black actor for Bond just for the sake of being different, but Chiwetel Ejiofor does kick ***.

Re: Beyonce: "A Black Wonder Woman Would Be a Powerful Thing"
Alright, I can buy her popularity and her powers being inconsequential from a feminist standpoint given the characters longevity in a male dominated medium, but as far as movie making goes I don't think they make for anything that begs to be watched. Between the wristgaurds, the miniskirts, and the lasso the whole thing reads more like an episode of Zena Warrior princess than it does a watchable superhero flick. Considering DC's newfound direction towards realism WW doesn't really strike me as the character of choice to be making a movie about. I think it could work in a toungue in cheek kind of way and I guess it has already with the old tv show with her. If they are trying to contend with the newly streamlined Marvel universe than I think it is the wrong way to go unless they are trying to go in a different direction.
