SPOILERS

the scene with Ned getting decapitated was epic, the whole time I was like "Kill him! Do it!" because I knew it would put this show into instant classic territory as soon as that sword came down. Bron is my favorite character right now, him and Tyrion are great. Also love the Dathraki story, can't wait to see what happens with that white haired bitch and her dragon babies.
For season 2 I think the two characters that will get the most development are Jamie and the Hound.

those white walkers...how do you even kill those guys? it seems like they're invincible. especially since (the oft repeated mantra) "winter is coming". I think if the dragons were to combat them, their extraordinary might would be nullified somewhat, as fighting them in the snow is basically on their turf. I don't know how this all ends, but I wouldn't be surprised if everybody dies. dothraki, seven kingdoms, winterfell. everybody.

Well considering that the only way to kill them is with fire, I think the dragons stand a good chance of being effective.

Good. They fleshed out that initial white walker vs ranger fight in the book and the white walkers are more bad ass than people watching the TV show know.
