The closest I came was stating the age of the children, and the fact that the wolves are emphasized stronger in the novels - both of which are things revealed in the opening scenes, if that's a spoiler then HBO had better quit promoting their shows with commercials and advertisements because we just may find out that Sansa Stark is a girl and Jaime Lannister has blonde hair.
I already explained what you did. There's only a very few viable predictions posted in this thread, you don't go writing that some people are spot on in their predictions. No one is writing them to get a gold star from the guy who's already read the books.

Keep saying you'll continue posting however you want, but let me explain again, no, you won't. You post something again that offends me and I consider a spoiler, you won't like the outcome.

I'll be careful not to correctly spell any of the names that have been incorrectly spelled in this thread, if I do so: R-Star may get me banned for spoiling it for him. So here's the deal: I continue to not post spoilers, and if you complain about me not doing anything wrong, we'll see what happens, sexy.

I'll look at this thread again in a year. R-Star can continue to use this thread to masturbate to his forum credentials.

Yeah, I'm done with this thread. I'm not even going to read the last page to see what might have been spoiled. Sucks that I can't even participate in a television show discussion because people are so eager to proclaim to the world that they read a book. Hurray for you. Your kindergarten teacher is proud.

It's only one dude and I took care of him. No one else has really posted anything bad since we made it clear to calm down on the book spoilers.

When the show gets back, I will be back. You "took care" of your ego... yes. Me? Um... what? It is a web forum, not a streetfight. ****ing incredible...

Yea. I was equating it to a street fight. Between this and your pm's I have to laugh when you're trying to make me look immature.

Good work.

Re: Game of Thrones

I think this thread has spoiled everything already. Ned dies, everyone. Let's get the elephant out of the room.

BTW R-Star I don't have your back on that av. It's a nightmarish monstrosity and they were right to ban it.

As I said, despite his youth he's performing admirably in the leadership role he's been thrust into. The scene with Maester Luwin (where he says he'll take responsibilities at Winterfell while Catelyn Stark was doting over an unconscious Bran), and the scene where he stood up to the elderly bannerman (I think his name was Umber?) were the two best examples of him leading well.

My point is that he is still green and he's trying to not let it show to his troops, since he knows if they will be demoralized if they see him unsure of himself. The three examples of that are when his mother joins them on her way back from the Eyrie (and he says there's no one here--he means his father or another authority figure to lead in his stead), when he's crying and ruins his sword after Ned's death, and the final one is his silence when his troops rally behind him for the King of the North thing.

He's not a power grabber like Joffrey or pretty much anyone else in the Seven Kingdoms (at least I don't think he is), but he is turning into a good general/leader. Still, he was too green to keep their morale high (one of his goals) while also turning down the role of King (his other goal). I think that's where you'll start to see his character evolve. He's being forced to take on a title he doesn't want (I am conjecturing, maybe he's glad to be King of the North).

Re: Game of Thrones

Is inexperience really a character flaw? I'm not saying he needs more 'good' in him to be the central character, I'm saying he needs a flaw. Jon Snow has his deserting, Jamie Lannister has his sister-****ing, and Bron has his lack of fighting with honor.

If Robb is Ned minus experience, he won't last. That's the whole point of Ned's story.

Depends. Ned was an honorable soldier playing politician. He was eaten alive for it. Put Ned with the army of the north and he would have stormed the gates of Kings Landing.
