Its a shit ton of reading. I do a ton of driving so I just got them on audible. Even then they average around 40 hours per audible book.

I just realized I spent around 200 hours listening to those audible books. Crazy.

You shouldn't even have to say that. Anybody who goes browsing into the Fire and Ice thread without having read the books deserves the spoilers that come with it.

Now we gotta wait almost a year for season 3? This is gonna suck.

For those that read the 2nd book, no spoilers but how much of the book did this season cover? I know they moved a lot of things around, but did they end the season where the 2nd books ends?

after experiencing game of thrones i'm not that high on breaking bad anymore.

game of thrones has so many awesome actors and characters, while jesse and walt started to annoy me and gus is no more.

I was skeptical of Daenerys' magical abilities but not anymore. She's a G.

Also the King of the undead wildlings looked badass.

I honestly don't remember. I listened to the books back to back right after each other so its kind of a blur.

They got into book 3 a bit.

I thought that they got a little into 3 with some storylines, but also didn't wrap up everything from book 2. Granted, I didn't go back and check against the books, so it's highly likely I'm just misremembering storylines.
