Well, we got our first bit of definitive fantasy/magic.

It's cool how this world is set up. Nobody within the Seven Kingdoms can do anything extraordinary or magical, but outside of the walls there are enough rumors and rumblings about superhuman things (and now our first evidence of such) that when it finally happens it's not only a big deal to the viewers, but the characters too. I dig it.

Also, is it just me or does the Queen and Lord Stark have some sexual tension going on in their scenes together? More so the Queen than Lord Stark, but still. It's like they definitely realize that they are enemies, but the Queen still looks like she wants to get down every time she talks with him.

Maybe it's just me, and I'm confusing Lena Headey's ability to look sexy when she's sinister with "**** me" glances. I don't know.

Finally, I don't know why, but I don't think Drogo lasts too much longer. I just feel like they're going to play with this idea that Kaleesi has to lead these people that are so different from her and her ways. A woman Queen taking control of a pretty primitive (even for the time period within Game of Thrones) and male dominated culture just seems like something they're going to work with. I think Kaleesi starts to lead them into more "modern" ideas and traditions.

Yeah it looks like they were hinting at that in the previews. & I don't know what the time lapse is supposed to be here, but Khaleesi's character has REALLY progressed in what I believe is a really short time.

I have so little to look forward to on tv these days. Please don't take that away from me. All of the good shows went bad over the last two years. There is very little left that is good let alone that is good over these months.

Is it me or magical/fantasy winter is coming thread to the show seem virtually unnecessary? Not saying it's bad or anything just that's there is so much **** going down w/in the human realm that they really don't even need to go that route, although it would be pretty fresh.

All in all the show has been great, although i gotta say i hate how the badass characters seemed to get **** on the most.

One last thing, if they kill off that Kaleesi/Targanian broad, i'ma be mad as a mothe****er. She's just becoming gangster, and she fine as hell.

It works, because they don't beat you over the head with it (winter is coming, white walkers, etc.). Maybe once every few episodes or whatever

God damn this show is good. I have a foot injury so I've had some free time and I watched all 8 episodes in 2 days. Now I can't stand waiting a week for each new episode. I was kind of disappointed though with the whore house guy (can't remember his name). It was obvious from the beginning that he was a snake. I kind of wish that twist with the city guard would have came as more of a surprise. I also think that Winterfel is going to end up teaming up with Kaleesi and that crew to take down the queen, and then are going to have to end up fighting off the Whitewalkers.

Agree with Pay Ton on Kaleesi. Also like how she was holding those hot eggs in one episode which explains episode 1 where she gets into the bath while it's still scalding. Love that this show is going to be subtle and tell a good story whether people miss things or not.

My own crazy prediction: I think Jon Snow's mother might have been a Targaryen giving him a claim to the kingdom. Stark was too secretive about her identity around the King especially and Snow is going to need an out to escape the Wall.
