Re: Tarantino + Will Smith + Sam Jackson?
Hmm...I just saw this now.
Nope, never had a Micmacs avatar. I DID have a City of Lost Children avatar with Ron Perlman carrying a little girl on his back. Maybe that was the avatar you saw? Anyway, there were people bashing those photos on another forum because they were saying that they wanted/expected a grittier style Western with less extravagent set design and costumes, which I found odd. They wanted something more Spaghetti Western, which I know Tarantino is a fan of, but has Tarantino ever proven to be anything other than flamboyant with his set pieces? Somebody even complained that it looked more like Wild Wild West. Look at his last movie, Inglourious Basterds. The Nazis and Hitler especially, they were done to somewhat cartoonish effect. He's not going for realism here. I don't understand what people were expecting with these photos. Seems like typical Quentin, to me. Anyway, I think the photos look great.

Re: DJANGO UNCHAINED
I was really pumped when I saw the photos. Christoph Waltz is a BAMF.

Re: DJANGO UNCHAINED
I have now seen this trailer a million times... and I'm sufficiently pumped about this movie.

Re: DJANGO UNCHAINED
This movie was very good. I can't imagine how it would have been nearly as good with Will Smith as Django. Jamie Foxx was the perfect choice.

Re: DJANGO UNCHAINED
Christoph Waltz is ****ing awesome! Loved it! Leo did a great job as well! I'm still baffled as to how he hasn't won an Oscar yet.

the overall screen play was great, foxx, waltz and dicaprio were great so was the rest of the cast. but i didnt like sam jax, the make up and all was good, but he was in his typicall yelling role which didnt fit for me. |
