It's being reported that Ben Browder is heading to Arrow.

The actor's been cast as the DC Comics character Ted Gaynor. He'll make his debut in episode 11, where he comes between Oliver and Diggle's budding partnership.

Gaynor and Diggle served together over in Afghanistan. At the time, Gaynor was his commanding officer. Now he's in Starling City, working as a bodyguard for the Blackhawk Squad Protection Group.

Seems like a mildly compelling storyline.

Former Fringe star resurfaces as Arrow's villainous Vertigo

Arrow's bringing a female adversary/ally from the comics, who shares a past with the hero. Her intentions are vague, but her name is clear—Shado.

Torchwood star Barrowman wants to join CW's Arrow full-time.

From playing a troubled hero in another show and coming to play a villain, I see Malcolm as a bit of a troubled hero himself because he's trying to do things to protect the company and other people but everybody sees it as being the bad way to do it; it depends how people go about things. Where as Oliver as Arrow is going around snapping people's neck and shooting folks but people see him asthe good hero. So Malcolm is a bit frustrated by things like that.

Fringe's Seth Gabel teases his "Joker-type" villain on The CW's Arrow.

This is actually more detail on a character I already mentioned earlier in this thread.

Battlestar Galactica favorite to tangle with The CW's Arrow.

Baltar is back on the small screen.

Arrow steals another star from Doctor Who universe
