Iron Man 3 set pics show new Iron Patriot armor in all its glory

Looks good. Not sure about the new Iron Man suit though waaaaaaay too much gold - he'll look like an academy award by the 4th one...

Aside from casting Ghandi as the Mandarin, which is kinda ****ed up, I'm surprised they actually made a movie with such an offensive character.

Dude was practically pulled off a WW2-era anti-Japanese propaganda poster. He's the 'evil magic Chinese guy' with no twist or personality whatsoever. They even named him after the language he speaks.

This character could only have been made in the 50s. If they tried to come up with that concept today, it'd be scrapped for being too obviously racist.

Back to Ghandi... there weren't any better choices? Really?

I agree. If they wanted to do it for current times, it should be some Asian dude who uses super advances mathematical algorithms to confuse his enemies. Then he gets into his car and starts crashing into everything..... but its indestructible.
