Re: Favorite movie trilogy?
Also Desperado is much better than El Mariachi and Wrath of Khan is light years better than the first Bar Trek film.

Re: Favorite movie trilogy?
This I agree with. It's at least as good as the original. Once a year my buddies and I will have a Godfather party where we fire up both films in succession. (We just sort of pretend that Part III didn't happen. That it's sitting in a film vault with the similarly missing Star Trek V.)

Re: Favorite movie trilogy?
Yes, but we already talked about them.... this is to throw out movies you liked but haven't had a reason to stand up and say you liked them. Wait? What's the purpose of this thread again?

Re: Favorite movie trilogy?
The Empire Strikes Back was not as good a film as Godfather 2

Re: Favorite movie trilogy?
Regarding movie trilogies:
Due to the pure awesomeness of the first 2 flicks (BOTH arguably Top-10 ever) The Godfather is probably #1 on my list (eventhough the third movie was meh)... LOTR will come second. 3 amazing films. Is Army of Darkness the best #3 movie ever?

Re: Favorite movie trilogy?
Return of the King is the best #3 movie ever.

Re: Favorite movie trilogy?
It's not that much greater than the previous 2 films (i'm partial to the second one, myself: Two towers, i think)

Re: Favorite movie trilogy?
That doesn't mean it's not the best third part of a trilogy ever.

Re: Favorite movie trilogy?
Just released the 4th, and not near the top, but Ice Age is one not listed yet.
