The Train Wreck AKA Lindsay Lohan
Cops: Lindsay Lohan arrested on assault charge after fight at Manhattan nightclub
^^^ Pretty good summary of not only the latest flap but the most recent "events" in this woman's life. Does anyone else out there besides me see that this is not going to end well for Lindsay? I haven't seen a train wreck like this since Amy Winehouse (which wasn't all that long ago).

Re: The Train Wreck AKA Lindsay Lohan
Quite a few celebrities are crazy. They get fame, and suddenly they act like they have no home training. In addition to not knowing how to handle the pressures of life. You know, she could end up like Winehouse, but she could also end up like Britney. Britney went bat shit crazy for a few years. Now she's walking the straight line again and nobody remembers how far she fell off at one point.

Re: The Train Wreck AKA Lindsay Lohan
Of course, but I'm saying most people forget celebrity struggles when they prosper again. The bald thing was so outrageous that it will never be forgotten, but the other outbursts, bad press and mental breakdowns she had are much easier to forget.

Not like I care, but this could easily be someone who wanted to get hit in the face by someone who is famous and might potentially have some money. I don't know how much money I'd need before I got Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao mad enough to punch me in the face, but for a 120 lb C list star I think I could take a punch at a very reasonable price.

Re: The Train Wreck AKA Lindsay Lohan
Britney's still as psycho as she ever was. I dunno if you guys have seen any interviews of her recently (sometimes youtube does this to me), but it's so incredibly obvious how much she's trying to act "normal". Given how batshit not-normal she is it comes across as the eeriest awkwardness.

Re: The Train Wreck AKA Lindsay Lohan
This is going to be weird to say, but Britney actually had a good home life and something to fall back on when her entire life went to shit. Not to mention that when she was shaving her head and not doing anything she was still making like $50 million a year. Lohan was raised in a chaotic family that very clearly chased fame through her; and she's also dead broke. For her, falling back on how she was raised is falling back on drama and chaos.

Re: The Train Wreck AKA Lindsay Lohan
Britney the international 18 year old sex symbol had a good home life?
What kind of father would let his daughter be that?

Fame, only those who go all out with no backup plan get it, and it's not guaranteed that you'll get it if you do go all out for it. Is that something most normal people will do? Absolutely not. Hell even Jon Stewart is a person whom you wouldn't want your kids to emulate. He's a guy who could have had a nice career but bet everything on comedy and entertainment. It worked out for him but how about the thousands of others?
My point is that you have to be a little to a lotta crazy to go for the famous lifestyle to begin with. Then add in all the drugs your body can handle and you have yourself a cocktail of self destruction.
