Tarantino's career is not free of stink bomb movies, but MNight's career is a train wreck.

even when Tarantino strikes out at least he's trying to do something cool and not selling out with YA dreck or getting stuck working the same formula over and over

plus Tarantino's batting average is a hell of a lot higher than Shamalamadingdongs (which is a sub mendoza like 2 decent films out of 9?)

4 Rooms immediately leaps to mind. I also wasn't crazy about Sin City or Planet Terror.

He only directed one segment of 4 Rooms, I guess the one he's in. That's a pretty decent movie IMO...not great or terrible. Personally I couldn't sit through Inglourious basterds. I get what he wanted to do it, but the movie is just beyond moronic.

I strongly feel that Inglorious Bastards is Tarantino's best movie.

Planet Terror was Rodriguez so I'm assuming you meant Death Proof and Tarantino directed one scene from Sin City.

i love jackie brown and pulp fiction, other than that, i'm not to high on tarantino.

as a fellow indian i'd like to hype manoj, but after the sixth sense the quality of his stuff has gone downhill.

Unbreakable was at the same level as the 6th Sense. His movies got steadily worse after that.

Except for the atrocious ending. Hard to overlook that. I don't think there was anything steady either. His other movies are junk.
