Somebody has to say it... Tavaris had a very good last 5 games last season. He looked like he might be finally turning the corner towards competency.

I wish your team's GM thought that about Jackson too. The man had the greatest game of his career last year (300+ yds vs Atl), and he's still just a backup.

You can trash his game all you want, but he's been a consummate pro last year. He was brought in as a stopgap QB, because he knew the system, and because he could avoid a sack or 2. He performed exactly to expectations and did not complain.

He'll play this year. Not well, and not very much, but he'll play.

I still get nightmares from Tarvaris Jacksons days as the Vikings starting quarterback. He was extremely painful to watch.

I'd love to see Ponder stay healthy and put together a solid sophomore season.

Not quite sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but he's impressed me in the preseason and I think he will be a solid quarterback in this league.

That is our resident Seminole fan. Like me HoboJoe believed that Ponder would be somewhat better than he was last year if I remember correctly.

Considering what he had to work with, I'd say he did quite well for a rookie.

Not at all, I love Ponder. I truly hope he can just stay healthy for once. If he does, I think he can put up some solid numbers and make things happen for the Vikes. He showed some ability last year, but he broke down at the end of the year and his play suffered.
