Woodson's injury had earlier been reported by Fox Sports.

The 36-year-old Woodson suffered the injury during the Packers' victory over the Rams on Sunday.

The eight-time Pro Bowler was named the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year in 2009. He has 55 career interceptions.

Woodson has 38 tackles, an interception, a forced fumble and 1½ sacks this season.

I'm sick of injuries this season. Thankfully this will be an easier stretch to deal with this injury with the next two weeks have us playing the Cardinals and Jags, with the week after those two being our bye week. Could be back in time for the Lions game on November 18th.

Jeez, damn this trend. Loads of respect to NFL players in regard to injuries though. When I broke my collarbone, a month later I wasn't capable of shifting gears in my car. Meanwhile, Chuck Woodson hopes to be laying out NFL caliber receivers a month down the line.

Didn't Woodson break his collarbone in that SB game too? You think multiple broken collarbones are a career-ender.
