Comeback Player of the Year: Manning or Peterson?
I know we're only at the half way point of the season but it's definitely going to come down to one of these guys. This might be the toughest call out of all the NFL awards this season. I'm a Vikings homer so you all know what I think.

Re: Comeback Player of the Year: Manning or Peterson?
Why would Peterson be in the mix for this? He scored 13 TD's in 12 games and was just shy of 1,000 yards. I mean, I get he got hurt and made the great/quick comeback but he had a really good season last year. Peyton Manning didn't play at all, and now he's in MVP talks. Supposing Manning doesn't fall off of a cliff, I don't see this as a close race at all.

Re: Comeback Player of the Year: Manning or Peterson?
Manning's not in the MVP talks because he's not Matt Ryan, but he's the best candidate for this.
Of course the Vikings fan brings up AD. BTW, if there was an anti-comeback player of the year award, Tebow would win it.

He came back from a MAJOR knee surgery. How isn't that a comeback? You guys left him off the Top Players list for this season cause you all thought he was done and look at him now. Manning should still win but come on show some love for AP.

Re: Comeback Player of the Year: Manning or Peterson?
But he had a good year last year...he's coming back from a tough offseason and everything but that's not what the award is for.

^Meh. BlakeJesus gave you the statline.
FWIW Peterson's been very impressive today. He's had 192 yds, and the rest of the Vikings have 97.

Re: Comeback Player of the Year: Manning or Peterson?
So apparently I was crazy for thinking Adrian should've be in the running for this award yet he received the second most votes. Interesting.
