What is also helping Griffin is the fact that the Redskins actually have a base running game and don't ask him to do too much right away. I'm virtually certain Cam Newton would be similarly effective if the Panthers stopped using that gimmick offense. Some plays look great when it's working, but you can't build your entire offense in the NFL on deception because there is no consistency to it. It's just silly to have backs like Stewart and Williams and don't even bother using them on a regular basis. They need a new coaching staff.

They need a defense first.

Just think how good this Redskin team would be (currently at 5-6) if they even had a mediocre defense? I can see them rebuilding the defense slowly via trade and draft and then watch out NFC.

Our defense has improved, but our Offensive line is atrocious. The reason we can't run the ball is pretty clear if you watch us play. We're getting destroyed on the line of scrimmage, Newton can barely drop back as fast the rush gets to him at times and we can't run block for shit.

I don't see it being reversed. Vikings getting killed right now. Still a lot of time though. Was more interested in this than Bills/Colts but I may find myself watching that game.

Cutler 15/17 for 117 yrds, TD at half.

Peterson needs to get on track for me in fantasy, damnit though.
