What's taking the Eagles and Chargers so long, exactly? I don't understand it. How blind are they that they still don't see these teams need a chance. I feel bad for Eagles and Chargers fans.

Pretty sure we have a thread here in which Jeffrey Lurie said he was going to fire Reid if they didn't have a good season this year, and that team hasn't won in almost two months I think. Don't know why Turner and Smith both haven't been fired. At this point it'd be beyond baffling if they were not both fired.

Not much point in letting the interim guy take over if you're planning on hiring someone else after the season.

Both these guys look like they've lost the team. IMO the league is different now. Players respond better to coaches that ride with them, instead of the 'do what I say' type.

Anyone notice that the fat coaches are gone? First Holmgren, Art Shell, now it's Reid, Turner, & Crennel. Good coaches stay in shape, like the Harbaughs, Carroll, Tomlin, Mike Smith etc. I don't think it's a coincidence that pro athletes respond better to fit leaders over fat people.

Both are going to get fired, but there is no point in doing it during the season with only a couple of games remaining on the schedule.

meh...the Eagles aren't going anywhere this season. No reason to not let Andy finish out the season after what he's done for that franchise.

The Chargers on the other hand are an embarassment and should have been fired Turner

Andy Reid has lost his team... to injury. I don't think the criticism is totally warranted. A certain amount of teams have to be bad every year, and when your offensive line is decimated before the season even starts, you're probably going to be one of them. Not that they don't have other issues, but you don't fire a coach unless you are sure you can get someone better.

Turner should have been out two years ago.

You're missing the Juan Castillo debacle. He fired the DC to save his own skin, and the defense got worse.
