Christ, to watch the special teams and Arrington **** up that comeback. And I missed Dexter twice because of the ****ing game. I am beyond livid.

Re: NFL '12 - Week 15
Wow. What a ****ing game. At 31-3 I figured this shit was over, but my goodness, what a comeback by the Patriots. And then BOOM! Two plays later and all the momentum is on our side again. Unbelievable game, unbelievable performance. HUGE confidence boost for the 49ers.

Most teams when allowing a comeback like that would completely fold and lose the game. Despite all the momentum with the Pats, we weathered the storm quickly and then the defense got right back on track. They're absolutely a very confident bunch right now.

Re: NFL '12 - Week 15
Can't believe this game has playoff implications. I guess that forces me to root for Tennessee and I sort of think a lot of Jets fans would just as soon see their choking dog of a team lose so that they can be rid of Rex

Re: NFL '12 - Week 15
What's funny is people think Rex is the problem. The problem above anything else is a complete lack of offensive talent, which makes it all the more amazing that he's taken them to two AFC title games with Mark Sanchez as his QB. He may get fired, but antics and mouth aside he's a great football coach.

HAHAHAHAHAHA Did you see his face after that INT? Priceless!
OF COURSE he fumbles the snap. Quote:
Rex has to pay for starting Sanchez despite the repeated failures. The public humiliation on Thanksgiving was the last straw for Sanchez, but Rex just stayed the course. Watching Rex right now, I'm waiting for him to cut the postgame interview short and storm off.

Re: NFL '12 - Week 15
Rex is a defensive coach and his defense sucks. I don't doubt that he can coach defenses, but he's not a great head coach. That's just silly.

Re: NFL '12 - Week 15
Who is their best skill position player, Bilal Powell? Jeremy Kurley? I mean it's insane how terrible their overall talent is on offense. Their defense is without its best player and possibly the best defensive player in the entire league and are middle of the pack despite having no help from an atrocious offense that can't sustain any sort of drive. It's a colossal failure on management's part to give Rex the roster he's been given and expect it to be a playoff team. The Jets grossly overachieving in Rex's first two seasons made them delusional and complacent.

Re: NFL '12 - Week 15
The Jets defense is fine. It's the same problem with some of these other teams that don't have a quarterback and/or offense - special teams and defense can always keep in you games, but at some point you just have to make some plays and put points on the board. Your margin for error is much smaller. Mark Sanchez has a career passer rating of 72.0 and as hobojoe pointed out, that is not going to get it done in today's NFL. The fact that they got to two consecutive AFC Championship Games has skewed their view of what Sanchez truly is, a below average quarterback who happened to come in when they had a pretty good roster. It is not Sanchez who has regressed compared to when they were more successful, the overall talent level has declined since then.

Rex is going nowhere. That team is probably the worst in the NFL talent wise and they where in the playoff race till the end of the season. If anything he deserves a f'n raise. There is no talent on offense at all. The Defense is old and lost its best player at the start of the season. The only person that needs to be fired is Tannenbaum after not bringing in anyone for that offense
