Re: NFL '12 - Week 16
Why would she marry him? Steele could have at least landed an Andy Dalton, Jake Locker, or some other mediocre starting NFL quarterback not named Christian Ponder.

Re: NFL '12 - Week 16
Dalton's a ginger.
Ponder is inaccurate and terrible, hot wife or no. They stay with him at QB and AP's career is going the route of Steven Jackson. If Seattle beats SF, I'll absolutely declare RWilson over RG3 for ROY. Looking at quality wins, RG3 has only beaten 1 good defense this year in Baltimore. Wilson has wins over Chicago, NE and GB. RG3's best games came against garbage teams.

Re: NFL '12 - Week 16
Lol @ quality wins. This is the NFL. Anyway, according to ESPN , we have played against 7 of the top 15 defenses in the league this year (Going by PPG)...of whom we've beaten four. Right on par with our overall 8-6 record.
Anyway, I have my Fantasy Football Championship this week and I would gladly trade that game for a W in Philly Sunday. Hail To The Redskins.

Re: NFL '12 - Week 16
I wonder what the Redskins offense would look like with Marshawn Lynch in it. Not like Alfred Morris is having a bad year obviously, but teams load up the box for Lynch and RG3 is a stone cold killer in play action. Then they could run their option game and the zone read a bit more effectively as well.
Wilson has had a great rookie year and you can argue him for ROY, but you have to be a real homer to use that sort of lame ass argument. He just hasn't been better than Griffin or Luck. If you want to talk about defenses, then tell us who is the best player on the Skins defense who isn't on IR. It's amazing that they have any sort of decent record given that all of their best defenders are hurt.

Re: NFL '12 - Week 16
It is difficult to compare Luck, Griffin and Wilson because they are all in completely different systems. Luck has been asked to do the most and he has usually delivered in the fourth quarter, but from an efficiency standpoint, Wilson and Griffin far, far surpass him. The Colts have benefited from an incredible stroke of circumstance, everything going right that could possibly go right, playing a weak schedule, plus eight of their nine wins came by a combined total of 32 points. Wilson is easily on the best team out of those three and has become a big reason why the Seahawks are a legitimate Super Bowl contender. Right now, I would vote for Griffin ahead of Wilson and Luck as third.

Re: NFL '12 - Week 16
I think Wilson has had a better year than Luck. Luck simply has too many turnovers (20 TD, 5 RTD, 18 INT, 5 FUM) to justify receiving the award over the other two guys. If RGIII makes the postseason, he gets the award, otherwise, I give it to Wilson.

I do have to give it up to the Colts organization, though. Living in Indianapolis, expectations around the community were very low going into this season (they were an absolute mess last year) and despite having a rookie QB, a weak defense, and losing their coach early in the season...a run to the post-season is quitee an accomplishment despite the factors you mentioned going their way.

Quote:
RG3's biggest claim to ROY is his 8 TDs in 2 games, but they were against Philly and Dallas. The best defenses he's played are Baltimore, NYG and Tampa Bay. Quote:
Wilson has led his team to a win over the best defense any of the ROY candidates have faced: Chicago. SF is the best defense right now, and a QB-led win over them would have to guarantee Wilson's spot at ROY.

Re: NFL '12 - Week 16
We'll see what happens, I do think Wilson is more deserving than Luck. But I don't see a 95 QB Rating and 24 TD's, 9 INT's, and 3,000 yards beating a 104 QB Rating, 24 TD's, 4 INT's and 3,600 yards (which has a good shot at breaking the 4,000 mark) if that the latter wins their division and the Seahawks don't.
Still a big if though. It's tough to see the Cowboys missing the playoffs this season.

Re: NFL '12 - Week 16
Oh funny. 104 QBR 24 TDs 4 INT. You had me for a second.
104 QBR, 18TDs, 6 rushing TDs. Don't try and skew that passing ratio. Playing Philly and Dallas twice a year makes that passing TD stat skyrocket. NYG also has a poor secondary.
