The coverage ESPN is giving this "story" is pathetic.

Glennon is going to need a great offensive line in front of him. He has tools, but only in the pocket. When he moves it usually becomes disastrous and since he moves very slowly disaster arrives that much sooner. You pair him up with the Jets O-line and you're as bad off as you are with Sanchez IMO. He doesn't take as long to make a decision as say David Carr, but he takes too long for the NFL. He takes way too long to be playing behind a poor O-line.

Shopping him? At Macy's? Surely they don't think anyone is giving up draft picks for that bum.

They just need someone to take on his contract. All Arizona needs to do is cough up a sixth-rounder and I bet he's gone, just to be out from under the financial obligation. Now, I'm not saying it's going to happen, but even the Jets know they aren't getting any real value in return.

Re: Sources: Jets to shop Sanchez, dump Tebow

From the article posted, I would cut him before June 1st, take the $17M+ cap hit, suck again in 2013 and then he's off the books for 2014.

Get him out of Philly and I think his numbers normalize a bit...that being said, I don't know if New York is where I'd like to see him end up either.

I could see somebody scooping up Sanchez for pennies on the dollar, and Tebow will find another home if he gets cut/dumped.
the Jets line isnt fort knox either and they're even worse in terms of talent positions and offensive coordination - it's got charlie foxtrot written all over it made all the more neon by the bright city lights of the big apple media - call it Rex Ryan's swan song if we havent already heard it

Re: Sources: Jets to shop Sanchez, dump Tebow

also seeing as what the Jets did to Sanchez Alex Smith would be wise to stay as far away from that place as possible - the organization doesnt know how to groom and support a qb - for Alex Smith it would be like going back to life under Singletary or worse

Why would Arizona do that?

Anyone thinking of Matt Flynn? Seahawks don't need him, and just because he got beat out by a ridiculously good Russell Wilson doesn't mean he can't play

Jets oline isnt bad. It got holes at guard and right tackle but overall is a pretty good line. Greene gets lanes to run through he just is a horrible RB. And Sanchez really hasnt been hit all that much. He gets sacks because he sits with the ball trying to find one of them terrible WR to throw to

Again, not saying it's going to happen, or that it makes sense, but that's the kind of "shopping" that the Jets are doing. Any team with a really bad quarterback situation (basically the Cardinals or Chiefs) can have him for free so long as they pay his contract. If a coach thinks he can get through to him, who knows? Maybe someone takes a flier on him, but I doubt it.

Re: Sources: Jets to shop Sanchez, dump Tebow

Why is this getting so much attention? It's basically all they talk about on the NFL Network. The Jets are seriously ****ed and their mediocre record definitely doesn't help them land a top QB in the draft next year either.

I certainly am, but everyone else thinks he's a bum for absolutely no reason at all.

Yeah, but those teams would have had to had 1st or 2nd round grades on Tebow when he came out? Think they did? Because there are guys out there with 1-2nd round grades in this draft.
