I think Lovie Smith is a good coach, but when your team misses the playoffs five out of six seasons and you haven't been able to fix the offensive woes in nearly a decade, then this was inevitably going to happen at some point.

There was no reason Rex had to be fired. Tannenbaum was the guy that made all of them moves to get Tebow and no one else. The right guy got fired

Wrong and right.

Tennenbaum needed to go for all the knucklehead decisions he made, in particular in regard to Tebow, but Fat Rex doesn't have the right people skills to bring together a team in disarray. He needs to go to.

This is such a knee-jerk reaction league.

Something has to be said for stability - firing your coach every three years isn't going to make you a winner.
