I'm not saying he's the best QB in the league, that San Francisco is unbeatable or that I'm even picking them to beat Seattle if they meet next week. All I'm saying is, if at this point you're unwilling to call Kaepernick a good QB and Harbaugh's decision to start him over Alex Smith the correct call you're in denial.

So each of these QB's grew up crying when the other team lost. I guess that ESPN would have told me all about that if I'd had my TV on the last couple of days.

So that's a "no", you're not going to give him any credit for his play today or since becoming a starter. Yes, I watched the Seattle game but that's actually more of an outlier than tonight.

A bad game is more of an outlier than setting a QB record. :2worf:

Yes, if you look at how he played since becoming a starter the Seattle game is the outlier when they were down 21-0 less than a minute into the 2nd quarter. That kind of changes your play calling, don't you think? He's more than capable of dropping back and passing (see New England game), but if you're going to take away the option running game playing from behind, that's going to skew things.

tell me what? Alex Smith won a playoff game last year. So did Tim Tebow...Impressive game but he still got alot of growing to do as a QB

he hasnt gone over 60% completion rating the last 5 games counting today. He brings the element of the running game but if teams can stop that he wont look to good. But thankfully GB couldnt and he looked great today

He is. But i just dont see him becoming a great passer. I see him having a Donovan McNabb type career
