Again, that's why he called it early. He didn't want Bryant to get a warmup but they snapped the ball well after the whistle and took it anyway. Smart on the Falcons' part, but that's why Pete was pissed off.

Of course it's dumb when it doesn't work, brilliant when it does. All I'm saying is timeouts are called before kicks at the end of the game all the time where the kicker doesn't get a warmup. If you want to criticize Pete, get on him for not taking the points in the first half when he should've.
