Worst coaching ive ever seen at the end of a game on both sides. Mostly Pete Carroll though

Again, that's why he called it early. He didn't want Bryant to get a warmup but they snapped the ball well after the whistle and took it anyway. Smart on the Falcons' part, but that's why Pete was pissed off.

It called horrible coaching. Calling a timeout there is retarded the kicker is always gonna get a warmup off. The prevent defense was a terrible call also. You dont play prevent when a team has time outs and only needs a FG to win

Prevents defense only works on Hail Marys not when a team can just run inbetween the zone and get 20 yards to get a FG off

FIFY.

There is almost no legitimate reason to play anything other than the defense that got your team the lead.

Ya because when does icing the kicker ever work? Once out of every 10 time? You give the kicker a chance to cool his nerves and settle down. Its dumb

Of course it's dumb when it doesn't work, brilliant when it does. All I'm saying is timeouts are called before kicks at the end of the game all the time where the kicker doesn't get a warmup. If you want to criticize Pete, get on him for not taking the points in the first half when he should've.

They didn't play a prevent defense on those two plays. They rushed five on both plays and Ryan made a couple of great throws.

Unreal - Atlanta just won that game w/ 30 sec and 2 TO, the SAME TIME/DISTANCE/TOs that Denver had @ end of game when Manning took a knee.
Excellent point, although Denver had a couple more yards to go. I guess this illustrates the point of trying to win (when you are forced to) vs. trying not to lose (fearing the worst instead of attacking).

This whole winning at the last minute thing is going to catch up with Falcons soon enough.
