It sounds weird to say considering they lost, but after watching the game today I'm not convinced Seattle still isn't the best team in the NFL right now.

They certainly aren't going anywhere, they are set up well across the board. In fact, with so many key contributors being young players, it is hard to imagine that they won't improve. The Niners/Seahawks rivalry should be among the best for a lot of years.

All NFL kickers should start doing what Justin Tucker did between the overtimes during "icing" timeouts. If the other team wants to ice the kicker, spend the timeout on the field doing practice kicks. That will get rid of that stupid timeout really fast.

Re: NFC Divisional: #5 Seattle Seahawks (12-5) @ #1 Atlanta Falcons (13-3) - 1/13
Why, because they lost one extremely close game to a team that's nearly unbeatable at home? Who has played better than them over the past couple months? What phase of the game are they not good or great at? Not taking anything away from Atlanta, they earned the home field advantage but I'd take Seattle any day of the week over Atlanta on a neutral field and I'd take Seattle most times over Atlanta even at the Georgia Dome, it just didn't happen yesterday. They played as poor of a first half as they possibly could have, and still moved the ball well in every series save the first one (3 and out). They left a lot of points on the board and still had a great chance to beat a very good football team on the road in the playoffs. They're as good and complete of a team as anyone in football, I'm sticking with that.
