Should The Jets Have Started Tim Tebow?
With hindsight being 20/20, should the Jets have started Tebow at some point for the remainder of the season?

Re: Should The Jets Have Started Tim Tebow?
As a Jets fan...Yes. Sanchez i think needed a break from getting blame for everything that happen to that team even though the guy had no weapons at all around him. They should have atleast gave Tebow a shot in 1 or 2 games and saw what happened
But seriously Jets weapons where CFL level bad.

Re: Should The Jets Have Started Tim Tebow?
I think its pretty damning evidence of how truly bad tebow is when a team struggling as bad as the jets were with a terrible mark sanchez would bypass tebow and go with mcelroy.. that and the fact that they really didnt need the media circus at that point in time either. I think timmy will be out of the nfl by 2014.

Re: Should The Jets Have Started Tim Tebow?
Problem with starting Tebow is you have to tailor your offense like McCoy and Broncos did to fit him along with having a regular offense for Sanchez, etc. Jets seemingly wanted nothing to do with that and makes their trade for him even worse.

Re: Should The Jets Have Started Tim Tebow?
Let's be honest with ourselves here, who overrates him? I don't think anybody views him as a dominant NFL quarterback, or as a high quality passer. He's a player with a specific skillset, and he proved to be useful when he's on the field. I don't know that he's overrated by anybody, he's just a polarizing person. Either you like him or you don't like him, but no matter what side you're on you don't think he's Aaron Rodgers.
But that's exactly my point, they had a strong offensive line (at times) and at least a capable running back stable. Not to mention a solid TE, they could have ran the power running game and been at least somewhat productive on offense. I don't know that it would have mattered either way, but they weren't bad enough to get a dominant pick so might as well try to win a few more games for the fans (not to mention a potential playoff birth).

Re: Should The Jets Have Started Tim Tebow?
I just really believe tebow should never throw another pass in the nfl, he should start making the transition to tight end before he runs out of chances

Re: Should The Jets Have Started Tim Tebow?
What makes people think he can play TE? Has he shown any blocking prowess or catching ability? He's big for a QB, but he isn't particularly big for a TE.

Re: Should The Jets Have Started Tim Tebow?
he gains 15 pounds and he is the perfect size for a downfield threat tight end, he is extremely strong too, i think he is a good enough athlete to make the transition, and with his awful reputation as a asser i think he really should consider doing something to try and stick in the league before its too late
