The "Pistol" Offense
What are your opinions on the offense? Is it a potentially revolutionizing change, or just a gimmick? Does it require a superstar to run it, what type of success can you have with a guy who isn't elite (Denard Robinson?). How, if at all, is this going to effect the upcoming NFL Draft? Are teams going to be making a play at guys in the early-mid rounds who fit this style a la Russell Wilson?
Are defenses going to have this figured out by next season, or is it going to stick around because it's entirely based off of reading the play?

This is an interview with Chris Ault from yesterday to clear up some misconceptions about the pistol formation: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-am/0ap...-on-Kaepernick
